Hi, I’m Jane.
I am a GP Registrar, originally from Sydney, trained in Gold Coast Queensland, and now enjoying settling in by the beachside of Newcastle. Before training in General Practice, I spent 6 years training in the hospital, with a focus on emergency medicine, and rural rotations, taking me as far as Weipa, near the tip of Australia.
These experiences gave me a strong foundation in caring for a wide variety of diverse patients and all age groups. Within GP, I enjoy getting to know my patients. My aim is to listen and understand your concerns and health goals with evidence based, compassionate care.
I am also interested in global health, and am a part of ongoing health projects overseas, working alongside local health care teams.
Outside of medicine, I enjoy surfing, hiking, camping and travel with my family and spending time outdoors.
