Cancellation & Non-Attendance Fees

To help keep appointments available for all patients, fees apply for late cancellations and missed appointments.

Less than 4 hours’ notice: $50
Missed appointment – existing patient: $50
Missed appointment – new patient: $100

Please provide as much notice as possible if you are unable to attend.

Telehealth & Medicare

To claim a Medicare benefit for a telehealth appointment, you generally need to have attended Newcastle Family Practice in person for your own appointment within the previous 12 months.

Attending with a child, family member or another person for their appointment does not count as an attendance for you.
