Mel previously worked as an Assistant in Nursing (AIN), providing care in both the community and nursing home settings. She later decided on a change in career direction and transitioned into medical reception, where her previous healthcare experience has given her a great understanding of patient care and support.
Outside of work, Mel enjoys playing lawn bowls and spending quality time with her family, especially her children and grandbaby.
