Pregnancy & early parenting

← All resources

Your GP is a great first point of contact when you're planning a pregnancy or have just found out you're expecting. We provide pre-pregnancy advice and antenatal care, and can help coordinate your care with the hospital.

One of our doctors is an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), so the practice can offer experienced support with breastfeeding and early feeding questions.

Key points

  • See your GP early in pregnancy to arrange your first tests and discuss antenatal care options.
  • Antenatal shared care lets you have some pregnancy visits with your GP, close to home.
  • Feeding support is available if breastfeeding isn't going to plan, and you don't have to wait.
  • We're here for the whole family after baby arrives, including checks and immunisations.
