Briana is a Registered Nurse who graduated from the University of Newcastle in 2020. She began her nursing career on a medical ward before transitioning into critical care nursing, specialising in the Emergency Department.
She is passionate about providing patient-centred care and brings valuable experience in both medical and emergency nursing to her role as a Registered Nurse at Newcastle Family Practice.
Outside of work, Briana enjoys spending time with her husband and two young children, reading, CrossFit training and travelling.
Sam is a Hunter Valley local who graduated from The University of Sydney in 1992 and has enjoyed a diverse nursing career spanning more than 30 years.
Nursing has given Sam the opportunity to work both across Australia and overseas, gaining experience in a wide range of areas including Palliative Care, Theatre and Recovery, Oncology and Chemotherapy, Indigenous Health, Community Nursing, General Practice and Surgical Nursing.
Outside of work, Sam’s greatest loves are her two adult children, family, the ocean and travelling. She has lived in London three times, for a total of six years, and has travelled to 16 different countries — with plenty more still on her list!
Despite her travels, Newcastle will always be the best place to come home to.
Marnie studied nursing at the University of Newcastle and has been a Registered Nurse since 2015. She has gained valuable experience working at both John Hunter Hospital and The Children’s Hospital at Westmead before joining the team at Newcastle Family Practice in July 2026.
Outside of work, Marnie enjoys going to the gym and spending time with her young family and her Golden Retriever, George.
